How to use S2 like S1 - Dimmer 2

Question

Posted

Dear all,

I'm using Dimmer 2 with two different switchs.

I would like to control with S2 the dimmer on the same way than S1.

As far as I read on the manual,  I was able to switch S2 with S1, with parameter 29, but this is not really what I want.

I really need so make S2 work exacty such as S1. How should I do this?

Thanks in advance,

Not sure I understand. The dimmer has only one real and one virtual output. if you have momentary (Push) buttons then you can connect your 2 physical switches in parallel to the module's pins marked S1 and SX and then the buttons behave exactly the same.  If the switches are of the toggle type then put the switches in series, not in parallel. Set parameter 20 switch type to toggle If you want one switch for dimming up and one for down, like a blinds switch, then set p 20 to "roller blind"

If you want S2 to control another dimmer, try associations.
