Harmony hub plugin issue

B4rrett

Question

Anyone know what the issue is with connecting my harmony hub via the fibaro plugin.

I've entered the pin and click save, it says access token granted:waiting for connection.  I've got the activities and it shows my hub as online but none of the activities list is showing and when I click on one of my activities nothing happens.

Anyone else had these issues and know how to fix the problem.

Many thanks,

Gareth

I have the same issues. Did you found a solution?

Are your Fibaro Home Center and Harmony Hub on the same network or different networks (different subnets for WiFi and cabled network)? In my case there is a firewall in between but I don't get any deny messages.

With Domoticz the TCP-port 5222 (XMPP) is used. I can not find what port and protocol Fibaro is using with this plugin.

Turned out my issue was the fact that I previously had my harmony hub connected to a different router (I bought a new netgear router) so fibaro was picking up the old details stored on the harmony account along with the new set up. I had to go to the harmony website and remove the old set-up then add new plug-in on hc2 and works perfectly now

Thanks for your fast reply. I'm not sure where to remove an old setup. Can't login or find my account on myharmony.com. I think I also have 2 set-ups active on my account.

  • This will definitely be your issue 2 set-ups on one account. Let me see if I can find the email from harmony in how to remove one.

Luckily I dont delete my old emails for 12 months. Below is the response from logitech.

My name is Milan. Thank you for contacting Logitech Harmony support and I would be glad to help you with removing the unnecessary hubs.

'I would suggest to forget these 2 hubs called 'harmony hub' and 'lounge' by double tapping on them in the mobile application and if still Alexa or other third-party device sees the other 2 hubs, go in the desktop software -> Select in the remote gallery the hubs called "Harmony hub" and "Lounge" -> Settings -> Remove your Harmony hub.'

I hope this resolves your issue, it did for me.
