Is it possible to access the REST API externally? The documentation specifically mentions access via the local network, via http. But is access to the API also possible via https and the Fibaro cloud?

I have a vpn. But i would like to use a different geofencing app to see if i'm home or not. The fibaro app is not good enough for use with alarm

I use IFTTT for geofence. You can try IFTTT.

I tried IFTTT but it's not precies enough. I want to deactivate my alarm based on my an my wifes iphones. But it needs to be on time. Before i open te door.

in the mean while i figured it out with Siri Shortcuts. You can do a Curl Request and A Base64 encoded Basic Auth even.

Hi. I would like to make API calls from outside the local area network. I understand that this is not officially supported yet, Could you please provide me with any workaround or trick to stablish this external connection?
