Setting up association roller shutter and DW sensor

Question

Posted

Hi,

I want to setup an association between my Roller Shutter 2 and Fibaro DW sensor 2.

Because my backdoor opens to the outside I want to prevent that the Roller Shutter is activated and run in to the open door. So it has to be that when I press the physical down button of the Roller Shutter it needs to check if the door is closed (safe).

When this is setup, will this also works for scenes or only for the physical button?

At the moment I have accomplished it with a scene and that works but not great (see screenshot), I want this setup with an association to be sure it also works when the HC2 isn't responding.

Thank you in advance.

Kevin

An association will not help, as it can only open/close based on status of DW sensor. You can not set any conditions to take into account from other devices or scenes.

Hi @kevin.

You could install a extra FGS-212/222.

Do associations with you're DW Sensor to open the relay contact(s).

With this contact(s) you can interupt the Neutral of the rollershutter, or the up/down wire.

But I don't give any waranty for 100% failsafe working. ?
