Smoke detectors in HC3

envie

Question

Hi.

Anyone know how to "connect" together smoke detectors in HC3? to make siren go off on all of them. (They are supported for this) Also not getting an alarm in the alarm list when testing a smoke detector. Aswell as scene not going off ( All lights on when a smoke alarm is triggered).

Thank you.

normally this is not allowed ... unless you have some which support this

ok, you have some. Now there are two products models (afaik) that support this -> Popp/Aeotec and Heatit/Climax

no idea how Popp/Aeotec is working (or not), so in case you have these, ask Popp/Aeotec (i know they testing their devices with HC2/HC3 and do have reports/recommended settings).

For Heatit (

) i know that they will not display anything in event list nor in device overview, if you use test button. This is simply because they doing test, and reports only hardware error if there is one, if no error they only blink with LED to confirm "everything ok". Of course with real smoke, they do detect it and display all information (tested with HC2 and HC3):

They can be connected together via association (to turn on/off others if alarm), however you can use scene as well to send turnOn turnOff (LUA) to control the siren.
