Downgrade to original F/W?

Question

Posted

Hi all,

My HC2 recently died (got through a few LEDs on bootup and failed, no VGA output). I bought a new HC2 and when trying to find how to transfer the old config, I tried to "recover" but that bumped the F/W up to 4.6 before I knew what it was doing! I've now found on the home.fibaro.com I can add my new HC2 (now done) and should have been able to do the transfer I think, but my old HC2 is greyed out when I hit transfer. I wonder if its because the new HC2 is on 4.6 and my old one was on 4.5x?

What can I do? If I can I get the new HC2 back to its original 4.53 firmware would it allow me to transfer? Or do I still need support to sort it out?

@Cameleon

is there a cloudbackup from the old hc2?

if so, contact fibaro to make it work.

    Yes there was a cloud backup from the last update I did. I've contacted support and they marked it available as a donor. Unfortunately the transfer failed so having to wait for support to get back to me. I will see what they can do.
