Appliance, cycle ready ---> push?

Question

Posted

Hi all!

The first scenes that I want to set up in the (to me) new system is to get push notification when two of our appliances (dish washer and washer) have finished their cycle.

I have managed to get it to work somewhat in that I get a notification when the power realtime consumption noted by the smart plug is below a certain value. The problem is that both machines have pauses in their cycle that is below this value...so I get notification even when the cycle is not ready.

Is there a way to ask the system to monitor when the power consumption is below a certain value for a set period of time...lets say: "When power consumption is below 1.8 W for 2 minutes ----> push notification"?

Regards

Fred

First question for many readers is: what platform are you on. According to your profile, not a Fibaro Homecenter. That is important for a solution.

    Ah, sorry...I will fix that! I have a Home Center Lite.

    The scene I made is not working well. I get notifications when the dishwasher (Diskmaskin in the blocks below) is in the middle of it's cycle and even when it's not working.

    I did some tweaking to the scene so now I need you guys to help me understand if my thinking is correct. This is the scene I just did...haven't tried it yet:

    So my thinking is that the first row "activates" the scene when I start a dishwashing cycle (watt over 100). The 2:nd row is to make sure that the periods when the machine is resting (below 1 watt during around 10 seconds) during the cycle is ignored. Third row is when the cycle is over and the machine shuts itself off.

    The problem is the rest periods during the cycle. If the machine used over 2 watts from start to finish it would be dead easy to set up this scene...but this is unfortunately not the case.
