(SOLVED) Stuck in coding VD

Twannie

Question

Hi

I created a vd with door/window names with labels which holds the dev ID's

The VD is attached, look at the label names which actually is "lbl" and then the DEv id number in the system

I am stuck here

What I want to do is to scroll through the list and swap between "UIT" and  "IN"

I then can use this info to enable or disable sensors

I hop you understand.

I do'n know how to scroll through the list using the buttons... maybe a good coder can help me on my way.

Thanks!!!

Hi @Twannie

i would go for 1 label only and scroll through the sensors like following example:

That would make the VD much compacter :-D

thanks for the tip but an overview  of which sensor is on or off would make it easier for me though

  • There is no way to get the "Label"  from a label (so not the value) in LUA is there?

You could maybe  derive it from this example
