Is it possible to have one single scene to detect any status change of any device?

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi folks,

I would like to set my house to a "Notify Me" status, maybe using a profile or maybe an alarm.  When the house is in this status, I want to receive a push notification if any door/window sensor is breached OR any light is switched on (or off) OR any roller blind is raised or lowered.  I want the push notification to tell me the device name and its new state.

What's the best way to do this, without creating a scene for every device?

Thanks a lot!

You can create a scene with all the sensor as trigger in LUA

Then check which sensor is triggered in the code like example below and use Pushover so you can specify the sensor which triggered in the message itself

Here is an alarm scene I run (which is totally disabled  by another scene when I am home so it won't run when home)

You could do about the same with switched (and leave away the 'is armed" part)

Please login or register to see this code.

Thanks @Twannie ! I will try something based on this.
