Adding devices to remote gateway

I have succesfully added my HCL as remote gateway to my HC2 (master). I also succeeded to import the HCL devices into my HC2, but now it seems impossible to add new devices to my HCL. When I try to add new device to HCL, it says that it is not my primary controller. I know but, the new devices are too far from my HC2, which was basically the reason to buy an HCL.

Can someone help me with this issue? I have tried to disconnect /remove my HCL as remote gateway (in order to add ne devices and add it as a remote gateway again afterwards), but then my HCL keeps saying that it is not my primary controller.

I don'y know how to proceed......
