Walli Dimmer Voltage Drop Error

Ralli

Question

Hi,

I know this has been asked before. However in this case I am testing with old incandescent bulbs and I also get this error when attempting manually to get full brightness.

If I configure it up to a maximum brightness (for instance 60%) it works well from HC3 panel (web or mobile access) and it works also well manually pushing once or twice. The problem is that you cannot operate dimming/brightening manually becasue it will fail when as you do not know which is the maximum level before it fails.

It is a very expensive device and I really think a solution is needed. I could expect issues with LED lights but not with incandescent ones ! Any parameter that I can modify ?

My set up is with two wires but with incandescent bulbs (tried 60W and 100W) I do not see what the problem should be. For the future, any recommendation on the LED lamps I could use ? Any compatibility list ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

  • Any idea why Walli Dimmer is not working with a conventional incandescent Bulb ? I am not able to dim it up over 74%

Is there any parameter I can modify ?

Limiting max brightness to 73% only helps remote operation but manual operation fails easily ...
