Question

Posted

Alexa (using echo dot device - 3rd generation) stopped executing my scenes. It was working fine until 2-3 weeks ago.

Observation1: My Alexa scenes are block scenes that execute a button in a virtual device (those buttons execute LUA scenes).

Observation2: I can control all other fibaro devices

Observation3: If I delete the scenes, Alexa can discover it again.

I recently updated my HC2 (4.600) but I am not sure if the issue started just after that.

Upgraded to test - it stopped working again.

Downgrade and it is working. Almost sure that it's an issue of 4.60.

Thanks for posting this. I've just added some scenes, but alexa does not find them.

Mine could find the scenes. It couldn’t execute them.

Remember that Alexa can only discover block scenes (it doesn’t work for lua scenes) and you have to sign with administrator account (it doesn’t work with lower level users).
