I have set up two FGS-222 as relays for my 24VAC solenoid's for my irrigation system, and this setup can activiate the solenoids as expected.

Though in HC3 there is a "10. Garden" page, where it is possible to create schedules, and I would like to do precisely that.

When I create a schedule, I can add a sequence, but I don't get any devices, even though I have set my FGS-222 in the role "Sprinkler", and it even get the icon of a sprinkler turning on and off, does anyone know how to get this function to work? Or am I forced to create scenes manually to add these sequences (e.g. each section needs water for 10 minutes at midnight and then again for 10 minutes at 5 in the morning)

not that way, got to devices, other, add and select sprinklers. A dialog will popup in which you have to select switches to be used as sprinkler, and optionally moisture sensors

Thanks, that seems to work, and it seems I can also run with multiple sprinklers at the same time, if I create different sequences for them
Truly better and easier than the suppliers RainBird Controller ;-)

A quick note on wiring of FGS-222 for irrigation valves in my setup

I started with a rainbird, though I returned it, while it was too expensive and not flexible.

My Valves are 24V AC which should be somewhat standard for irrigation systems.

I mounted everything in a DIN box, with an euFIX S224 (it also fits FGS-222

    For powersupply of 24V AC I bought a cheap 24V AC 2,5A

It could do with a smaller Power Supply, though I have in total four valves (two FGS-222), and with peak power they drag around 1,4A (while opening), and this one was cheaper when I bought it. I would consider having a DIN rail mounted Power Supply also, to fix everything in a DIN box, though they are not easy to find, and often more expensive (still looking for the right one)

With this setup it is cheaper than the corresponding Rainbird system, and I can control all four sections independently, or through the irrigation application built in to Fibaro Home Center 3, I have set it to 10 minutes of irrigation at midnight and around 5 AM for each zone (when summer is coming). I can also control it on the buttons on the euFIX (alternatively add a momentary switch would do the same on L (230V) and S1/S2)

Attached is a rough drawing for the FGS-222 with both 230V and 24V AC

I do have similar setup. But I miss a switch shut off a sequence or to activate a different sequence. I had a Rainbird controller before. I was easy to change watering times etc.

A switch (in a scene) for a sequence in the irrigation panel would solve my problems.
