Motion detection intervals

Question

Posted

Hi guys,

I am new to  Fibaro Community and Technology itself. Currently I purchased Home Center 3 and several sensors and switches on AliExpress to test it before installing it into my house. I am not using any qualified installers, but rather would like to become an installer myself some time in future.

PROBLEM:

I created a simple scene which switches on the light (I use McoHome Simple Switch for it) once motion detected (Aeotec MultiSensor 6). But the problem is that it has some kind of operation intervals, meaning that it does not react every time motion is detected - scene or sensor stays idle for several minutes before the light will switch back again after another motion. I know that sensor is detecting movemement frequently - I get push notifications directly from sensor settings every time motion detected. What can we done for the scene to be run more frequently without intervals of standby mode? I didn't find anything in settings.

I am attaching basic screenshots of Scene and Device settings.

Maybe use some Lua code, to be less dependend of your motion sensor. The motion triggers the scene and light goes on. If there is motion in the next seconds or minutes the light stays on (counter start at zero again).
