Hello.
I am using some Aeotec Smart Switches 6 with my HC3. These switches hava nice LED ring whcih can be used, e.g. as ON/OFF indicator or as night light. If parameter 81 is set to "2", night light is selected. Parameter 83 is to be used to set the color of the LED ring.According to the manual of the Smart Switch 6, the parameter length is 4 Byte. However, in the list of parameters for the device a parameter length of 1 Byte is indicated. I tried to change the setting to 4 Byte, but I always failed. The HC3 does apparently not keep the setting. It is always changed back to 1 Byte. The problem is then that with the length of 1 Byte, the parameter, i.e. the color of the LED ring cannot correctly be set. (The value is expected to be between 0 and 16777215.)
Does anyone have an idea? What caould I try to fix this problem?
Thank you for your help.
Horst
