Walli Dimmer flickering LED

Question

Posted

Hi @all!

In the last weeks I installed a new Walli Dimmer as replacement of the older normal dimmers from Fibaro.

After some time after I switched the lamp on, the brightness changes frequently. Yes, there is a LED bulb installed, that is dimmable. And I also have installed a Fibaro Bypass, so that the LED really can switch off.

It worked perfectly for some years. But now with the newer (fancy ?) Walli Dimmer it does not function properly.

I forced the recalibration with Parameter 159 set to "2 - force auto-calibration with FIBARO Bypass 2". Nothing changes. ?

It´s horrible when the light gets brighter and then darker again.

Does there exist any solution for this??

Thanks and regards,

Jörg

Sorry for answering so late. i idn´t got any e-mail from the forum for your posts. :(

Hi @tinman yes, I tried this before. But it didn´t resolve the problem.

I´m now trying @Tim__´s guide. At the moment the changing of force leading or trailing edge control seems to work. But I will have to try it for at least half an hour. I will follow up if I get some newer informations. :)

So far, thank´s for your support!?

Great, the change from leading (which was detected automatically) to trailing edge made it! ?

    Sometimes it´s too easy. ?

    Thx to @Tim__
