Expectations not met - did I oversee something? Gauges, barcharts, graphics?

Question

Hi,

I have my HC2 since several years already. Pushed away my OpenHAB solution to have Z-Wave devices managed in a professional way, without the hassle to code too much.

What I really did in the last years was talking to Alexa and let some lamps turn on and off. I measure temperature, light, almost anything but what could I do with it? There is not even a graphical chart of what happened in the rooms as I would expect it.

Example:

Power consumption at a glance? Not there (other than just one number somewhere). I would expect a graphical chart or a bar chart showing the consumption over time. But there are no graphical charts at all. Why?

Even worse, I wanted to put in the overall power consumption from a different device (which needed me to fiddle around with virtual devices, some coding etc. but ok) and now? I couldn't even find something like "overall power consumption" so I assume it's not there and cannot be filled with a value. So I need to subtract power data of all other devices which send the current power (like fibaro wall plug) and have the remaining power.

Besides this, the hc2 itself consumes more than 20 Watts and get's quite warm if not even hot. I cannot say if this would be less with other devices but also here I am disappointed (I couldn't find any power saving options here).

So don't get me wrong: It's really stable for me, it works and the http-client and the programming options are quite cool. But I miss the whole thing of data collection and display in an overall graph like bar charts over time (e.g. for the power consumption), gauges, etc. To give you an example of what I mean, I attach a picture of my wallbox (OpenWB) for my car. This is how I would expect it. Do I just miss something? Need to add a plugin or so? Or is this kind of device (the hc2) not meant to do such things?

You are right, but luckily they make beautiful video's with what you can do in some distant future!

Thank you. This means, I need to set up a Raspberry Pi for this? Hmm, again a step towards putting the whole stuff on the Pi then and switch the HC2 off?
