How can I setup Siri to trigger an action/device.

Question

Posted

Hello

I’m looking to have Siri command trigger a device on my HC 2 but I have no idea where to start.

For example: Hey Siri, open my gate.
Siri then send the command to HC2 to trigger the switch to open it.

Can anyone help with me a guide?

I did workaround of this problem.

1. Grabbed raspberry pi

2. Installed homebridge on it

3. Installed Fibaro plugin

4. Add this to MyHome on iPhone

5. Put an ipad as a home center

It works like a harm.

It's a bit effort, but it works.

Hi

Another way is to through Node-Red. If you are already using a Node-Red based bridge for Alexa/Google Home, this will take only a few minutes

I made a video for this. Might help you..
