How to read Temperatuur settings from ID 1

Question

Posted

Good afternoon,

Is there anybody here that can advice me on how to read the value of ID 1.

ID one is automatically generated by the system when creating temperature zones.

However reading out like

TempTarget = fibaro.getValue(1"value")

Does not work.

    Hi 10der and happy new Year,

    Thank you for your reply.

    So far so good, however how to implement this in my case (scene)?

     Below scene works perfect as long I fill in a fixed value (eg 21) at TempTarget.

    I am sorry sir

    I do not know what deviceId meant cuz deviceId is HC3

    so, you trying to ask HC3 self value? Lol

    never know before what HC3 has own value

    is is value is temperature or switch state?! Lol

    if you still do not know what I mean

    please call

    http://192.168.1.36/api/devices/1

    where 192.168.1.36 is your IP address of hc3

    this is deviceId = 1

    HI 10der,

    I followed your advice as per below print.

    However I do not understand how to implement this in my scene.

    The only thing I want is to read the value of the set Temperature of ID 1, which is generated by the climate zone "Groundfloor" Schedule.

    TempTarget = fibaro.getValue(1"value")

    Is the ID 1 the HC3 and thus the temperature the measurement of the weather station you configured in the settings for the HC3 ?

    Not to worry, as I found my answer with below post.

    Very simple, however with the lack of proper documentation on Fibaro HC3 use of LUA it took me long to find out

    Thank you all for your help anyhow
