Connect a Z-Wave Stick (Aeotec) zu Home Center Lite for Updates

SkyCryer

Question

I have some Fibaro Roller Shutter I want to update. I use a zwave stick with a different Smart Home Software, my plan would be to add my stick with fibaro and other devices to a home center, update all fibaro devices and disconnect again. Is that possible? Or do I need to unpair all devices I want to update, pair them with Fibaro Home Center, update and then reverse?

As far as I know there is no other chance to update the firmware without Fibaro Home Center, correct?

You have to exclude the devices and include them to the stick, then update.

  • They are include on the stick. Or do you mean exclude from stick and include on home center?
