Popp Z Rain

CypressOaks

Question

I have a Popp Z rain and have aded it to my Fibaro HC2.

I just added it as a new device and haven't changed any paramters (since I don't really know how to do that).

It seems to work, I get the mm3 and mm/hour indications.

The problem I have is that they battery only lasts about 2 days.

I measured the current and it was 45 mA for a few seconds then dropped to < 10 uA (the resiloution of my meter).

Before I send it back as faulty, is there any commands I should be sending it to save battery life.

Regards

Martynb

According to the manual you should set the wake-up interval very long. Once per hour or so. I'm interested in your experiences with this device.
