Heater control / fused switch

NickT

Question

Hi all,

I'm based in the UK. I have an electric towel rail / heater in a WC. Outside the room, there's a fused switch for the heater; the heater itself has no controls. This means it's always on, or always off.

I'm thinking of adding a Fibaro Switch 2 after the fused switch. I want the fused switch to always guarantee the heater is off, but then have the Fibaro switch after this, so I can add a schedule / temperature / event control.

Does that make sense? Is this the right device for that? Does anyone have a wiring diagram they could share?

Thanks!
