How to synchronize device status with physical switch.

The light is controlled through toggle switch and Fibaro dimmer 2. I'm using automation that automatically turns on the lights using motion sensors. However, if I turn on the light in the physical switch, the status is not reflected in the home center administration. For example, even if the light is automatically turned on with the motion sensor, and the light is turned off by physical toggle switch by hand, the light status still on the home center. Please let me know how to synchronize device status with physical switch.

I think the folks here are going to need more information. Which home centre model do you have, and where are you looking at the status?

Also, can you provide a diagram showing the wiring. What model of motion sensor? Lastly please post your code.

Ps have you considered changing the switches from toggle to momentary? The avoids the "upside down" switch problem, and allows you to dim from the switch.
