How to getValue from MCO Home thermostat ON HC3

Question

Posted

Hi,

I am trying to write a scene in LUA in HC3 where I need to extract the set value on the thermostat. Unfortunately in HC3 the simple fibaro.getValue (thermostat ID, "value") structure does not work. Nil is returned. How else can I get this information?

The formula, that you are using will not work, becuase you need to access the heatingThermostatSetpoint property and not the value. All available properties you can alway chcek in your Swagger, by accessing the device by ID..

So the actual setpoint you can get with fibaro.getValue(thermostat_id,"heatingThermostatSetpoint")
