Hi Guys,

I have a HCL Software version 4.6.

I have constantly receiving the following log message.

[17:17:23] ID 40: Received parameter 9 report, value = 2
[17:17:24] ID 40: Received parameter 9 report, value = 2
[17:17:25] ID 40: Received parameter 9 report, value = 2

The problem is that I can't identify the Device with the ID of 40

I have run the following command "http://192.168.1.13/api/devices/40" to try and find out what it is and I get the following output.

{"id":40,"name":"40","roomID":0,"type":"com.fibaro.zwaveDevice","baseType":"com.fibaro.device","enabled":true,"visible":false,"isPlugin":false,"parentId":1,"remoteGatewayId":0,"interfaces":["zwave","zwaveAssociation","zwaveConfiguration","zwaveSlaveRouting"],"properties":{"associations":"[{\"endPointId\":0,\"groups\":[{\"groupInfo\":{\"commands\":[{\"command\":\"Basic Set\",\"commandClass\":\"Command Class Basic\"},{\"command\":\"Sensor Binary Report\",\"commandClass\":\"Command Class Sensor Binary\"},{\"command\":\"Battery Report\",\"commandClass\":\"Command Class Battery\"},{\"command\":\"Multilevel Sensor Report\",\"commandClass\":\"Command Class Sensor Multilevel\"},{\"command\":\"Notification Report\",\"commandClass\":\"Command Class Notification\"},{\"command\":\"Wake Up Notification\",\"commandClass\":\"Command Class Wake Up\"},{\"command\":\"Device Reset Locally Notification\",\"commandClass\":\"Command Class Device Reset Locally\"}],\"name\":\"Lifeline\",\"profile\":\"General: Lifeline\"},\"id\":1,\"singleChannel\":{\"max\":5,\"set\":[1],\"view\":[1]}}]}]","categories":"[\"other\"]","configured":true,"dead":"false","deadReason":"","deviceControlType":"0","deviceIcon":"28","deviceSpecificData":"h'0c000100010107020500000005050000000000","deviceSpecificIdType":"Serial Number","deviceState":"Configured","emailNotificationID":"0","emailNotificationType":"0","endPointId":"0","lastWorkingRoute":"[1,36]","lastWorkingRouteRequestStatus":"ok","lastWorkingRouteRequestTimestamp":"0","lastWorkingRouteResponseTimestamp":"1616412677","log":"","logTemp":"","manufacturer":"","markAsDead":"true","model":"","neighborList":"[1,30,36,136,56,61,67,83,88,114,122,130,138,151,153,156,158,160,172,212,218]","neighborListRequestStatus":"ok","neighborListRequestTimestamp":"0","neighborListResponseTimestamp":"1616412677","nodeId":"12","parameters":[{"id":2,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0},{"id":3,"lastReportedValue":30,"lastSetValue":30,"size":2,"value":30},{"id":4,"lastReportedValue":2,"lastSetValue":2,"size":1,"value":2},{"id":5,"lastReportedValue":1,"lastSetValue":1,"size":1,"value":1},{"id":39,"lastReportedValue":20,"lastSetValue":20,"size":1,"value":20},{"id":40,"lastReportedValue":1,"lastSetValue":1,"size":1,"value":1},{"id":41,"lastReportedValue":1310976,"lastSetValue":1310976,"size":4,"value":1310976},{"id":42,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0},{"id":43,"lastReportedValue":50,"lastSetValue":50,"size":2,"value":50},{"id":44,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0},{"id":45,"lastReportedValue":2,"lastSetValue":2,"size":1,"value":2},{"id":46,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0},{"id":101,"lastReportedValue":241,"lastSetValue":241,"size":4,"value":241},{"id":102,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":4,"value":0},{"id":103,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":4,"value":0},{"id":111,"lastReportedValue":300,"lastSetValue":300,"size":4,"value":300},{"id":112,"lastReportedValue":3600,"lastSetValue":3600,"size":4,"value":3600},{"id":113,"lastReportedValue":3600,"lastSetValue":3600,"size":4,"value":3600},{"id":201,"lastReportedValue":1,"lastSetValue":1,"size":2,"value":1},{"id":202,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0},{"id":203,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":2,"value":0},{"id":204,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0},{"id":252,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0},{"id":9,"lastReportedValue":2,"lastSetValue":2,"size":2,"value":2},{"id":81,"lastReportedValue":0,"lastSetValue":0,"size":1,"value":0}],"parametersTemplate":"755","pollingTimeSec":0,"productInfo":"0,134,0,2,0,100,1,13","pushNotificationID":"0","pushNotificationType":"0","remoteGatewayId":"0","saveLogs":"true","serialNumber":"h'0c000100010107020500000005050000000000","smsNotificationID":"0","smsNotificationType":"0","useTemplate":"true","userDescription":"","zwaveCompany":"AEON Labs","zwaveInfo":"3,4,54","zwaveSoftwareVersion":"{}","zwaveVersion":"1.13"},"actions":{"getLastWorkingRoute":0,"getNeighborList":0,"getParameter":1,"reconfigure":0,"requestNodeNeighborUpdate":0,"setParameter":2},"created":1616412576,"modified":1616412576,"sortOrder":15}

Can anyone offer any advice?

Thanks for looking.

It is odd that you see this in the status window but I am guessing you changed from batteries to USB power or the other way around, without excluding and including the device. Or maybe your power source is unreliable.

I can tell you what 9 is ... It is a report of the "current power mode". Details of all parameters are in this document:

Value 2 is not in that table but maybe something got lost in translation while they wrote that document, it wouldn't be the first time. Possibly 2 means it is a awake for 10 minutes after inserting the batteries, but that's something you can find out and I cannot because I am on USB power.

While we are talking about the oddities of this MS6, it is worth understanding Aeotec introduced a major issue with parameter 41 in combination with "templates", that can be worked around if you follow this:

coincidentily I got the same today, an aeotec multisensor was the problem, usb powered, nothing changed, but he lost it. came up as a dead node and I couldn't bring it back to live other than delete it and include it again. after that no problem.
