Tablet Going to Sleep

Hi

I was wondering whether there was an option in the app to stop the tablet from going to sleep after a period of time. My tablet (Lenovo M8) doesn’t have that option by default in its settings.

I know there are 3rd party apps you can download to do this however having the option in the Fibaro app would definitely streamline and simplify it for users.

I don’t believe I had this issue with the old Fibaro App.

Please let me know if there’s something in missing.

Well, you should be able to set this up on your Lenovo.

On my Lenovo it is under: Settings / Screen / Advanced / Sleep mode / Never.

  • I have noticed this with some other tablets as well where the maximum awake time is something like 30 minutes. Of course there are ways around it, but for the average consumer it's one more thing to worry about. In saying that, is the Fibaro platform for the average consumer in its current state? That's a topic for another day! :P

tablet is tablet, not wall display - for most Android-based tablet manufacturers, and they really don't care. Apple is normally better as wall-display, there are as well some Android-based wall displays available, e.g.
