Smart implant and waterflow sensor

Question

Posted

Hi, I am using 2 waterflow sensors (cold & hot water) connected to the IN1 & IN2 (analog inputs) of smart implant. Actually I don’t know where to instruct the smart implant that 1L = 500 pulses ( revolutions). Can someone please help?

thanks a lot.

Unfortunately Smart Implant (or any other Z-Wave module I know) gives you this feature.

Smart Implant can:
- check the state on the input (as binary one), NC/NO
- measure voltage on the input (with or w/o pullup for passive or active analog sensors).

It does not count pules, it was not designed for that.

Ok, thanks. I will consider using a ESP8266.

@claudent you could also consider using a cheap pre built module that converts frequency to voltage first, and then use the implant to measure the voltage. Let us know if you try this!

    Eg this one
