If you think your client is " an old idiot"  you need to change your aditude to serve this  type of clients.

Hahaa, that is what I also thought. But it looks like he is using a translater, that can give some strange results.

    pushing once or twice can be difficult.

    Perhaps button below? Now you make it visual green = safe or if you take a red color red = armed.

    I use also such a red button with a dubble relais.

    Tip:

    If you use a translator reverese your translation to check if thats what you wanted.

    Question:

    If armed >>light On?

    if dis armed >>Light Off?

    That should be easier for older people.

    So I think you want to push the button twice to disarm the alarm but without typing in the pin code. 

     

    (And push the button once to arm the alarm)

     

    So your question is, how to bypass or fill in the pin code with pushing the button twice.
