Question

Hi Guys I have just bought a HC3l lite and I have issues. When I tried to set it up Iwas faced with the following

The instructions state The gateway will turn on wait for indicator to turn solid red and connect to Wi FI network created by gateway using ssid and password on bottom of device. Then go to

. Because I am not connected to the internet the loading list wheel just spins. The previous HCL units had a direct internet socket and I could log into them and set the internet access . I am unable to do this now and do not know how to proceed.

I fixed this by using the an IP scanner which gave me the ip address that the unit came from the factory with. This allowed my to log into the device and set it to my home network. I hope this info will be helpfull .

When I went to the site there is no manual for the HC3l. I do not have the dashboard that the homecenter lite had and am not sure how to proceed. I have 4 devices on my new unit 2 of multiswitch. These are switching on my gate lights ,my boiler,my motorised valve and my heating pump. it is a pain to switch them off and so far the only means of doing so with any reliability seems to be the yubii app on my ipod. I had my rooms and zones set up on the old controller but I do not see how to set up a zone on this unit let alone assign switches to rooms . Any one got advice. At the moment my old controller is being used for motion dectors and temperature and I would like to migrate to the new unit as ultimatly I want the system to be controlled by Alexa

regards
