Jay Ess

I would like to check if certain contions are true and if yes then the code should exit the scene and if false then it should continue with the code, is there a way of using a if true then exit, like in othe rprogram languages?

Please login or register to see this code.

os.exit() - terminates the host program (scene). There is also function fibaro:abort() that actually do the same termination.

return - statement is used to return values from a function or a chunk

break - statement terminates the execution of a while, repeat, or for loop, skipping to the next statement after the loop. Can also be used to terminate VD Main loop code since it is actually repeat loop inside which users write their code.

goto - statement transfers the program control to a label.
