Smart Implant -> change local protection with lua

Question

Posted

Is there a possibility to switch the Local Protection slider from On to Off with Lua code...? (see picture)

And the possibility for get value from this slider with lua "if slider_x is true then ....."

I have a gate opener with a button on the inside of the pad for opening the gate. I will to disable this button at night of when I live the house.

When you set the slider manually to On, the button are disables. But to this manual is no option:-)

You will when you start scene "Live house". this slider go to On and when you come home slider go's to Off.

I try with Block Scene, but this button is not visible

Somebody any idea....

@twanve

You can't do this with a scene. It may work through the API, but you're unnecessarily complicated.
If you have a button on the gate connected to IN1, put it in series with OUT1, separate the outputs (see slider). OUT1 will have a blocking function in the electrical circuit.

So .. For example OUT1 will be locked and the function will be available if OUT1 is ON (you can already control this from the scene, calendar ..) and will only wait for closing with the IN1 button. In the evening, you turn off OUT1 and IN1 will no longer respond to the button (I do not solve your internal input and output links and required functions).

The same is possible with the use of serially connected outputs. Then there is no need to separate the outputs.
