Question

Posted

Good morning, I would like to know how to create scenes with block delay (I try to learn lúa from scratch, but I can't find a clear guide) in hc3, I had them in HC2, but now I can't find the way, the scene would be the following ... main door open more than 5 min = notification.  It is very good for my house that we all leave in a hurry always.  Thanks in advance.

    Here are the Lua guides

If you open the door, I think you have to reset the counter if you close the door. So if you re-open the door on the 5 minutes marker (counter is stil counting), you don’t want to get a notification.

Don’t know if that is possible in a block scene.

Maybe someone has a blockscene solution for you.

If not, here is a Lua scene for motion and lights. It has a sort of delay. Maybe it can give you a start:

After thinking about it many times, I have found a way to do it in blocks since it is a simple scene and for a notification it is a lot of trouble to get into it, in the photo I indicate the delay time for the trigger to act, normally it is at 0. which would do it immediately, if you apply a time, until that time does not pass, it will not act as a trigger ... basically the red square of the block scenes is the same as HC2 so that we understand each other, I hope it will help you in the future .
