afaik not, the the zwave chip power are exact the same as on latest GA.

5.080 GA -> "ZW": {"FW": "zwave_2_EU", "FW_3": "zwave_EU", "PWR": "0x12"}
5.040 GA -> "ZW": {"FW":  "zwave_EU", "PWR": "0x12"},

It is anyway problematic for manufacturer to change RF settings, normally they need to re-certify the EMC then.

this started with beta and has now become really noticeable on the latest stable version.
devices that have never been a problem to add must be taken really close to the
controller and the execution of a command is very slow now, before it was instant.

can be broken or wrong configured z-wave device, flooding z-wave network, so the only chance to get included without interferences is to do it close to HC.

It can be as well non-z-wave device, increasing the "noise level", so think what else changed in your environment.

    nja that was my first thought to but im using a z-wave sniffer and can't see that problem, im thinking if they made any change in the software, im guessing the certification only is for the maximum db and thy can lower it in the software as you can do with anny Ap?

    These values are taken from the firmware configuration, i haven't tested with SA if the power is still the same, but i would have noticed this as well (i do some zwave dev, my dev HC is far from my office).

    As you have zniffer, you can test your environment - make cloud backup, download the 5.40 GA, restore from file your HC, add one zwave plus device and put it far from HC, then measure with zniffer (near your HC). Without changing anything in your environment, do update to latest GA and read again the values.
