Is it double switch I need

I have a double outlet in the bathroom that I wanna power measure, it is not important to switch on off.

Is it the double switch I would need for this?

Most of the time, those outlets cannot be separated. In that case a single switch does the job. Also consider that a double can switch less power. I see a power cable where a lot of power can go trough.

It is for a washing machine that cable

Yes, single switch wil do both and can switch/ measure 8A!! no more

So check first what youre washingmachine is using

i see in my electric cabinet that the fuse is is 15 A for the entire bathroom

In the manual for washing machine it only says 7.94 kwh per washing cycle

It's about peakusage, 8 x voltage = max the switch can handle

never knew there where 15 a fuses, 

in the netherlands it's standard b16A, de c variant is not standard overhere

if you have 230v then its 8x230=1840w max

aeotec nano swotch can do 10A

according to there website

Maybe it would be cheaper to use aeotec power energi meter insteed?

single can do 15a double 10A

i think the 15 amp is for  120 vac only

 

Output: 120VAC, 50Hz to 60Hz, Max 15A Resistor load.

230VAC, 50Hz to 60Hz, Max 10A Resistor load

Why not use a WallPlug for your washing machine, it is easy to apply (no electrician needed).
In addition to logging the energy consumption, you can create a scene that automatically shuts off the power and sends a TTS message or Push message when the wash is complete.

My wife loves these features because she does not have to run to the laundry room and check if the laundry is ready.
In addition, it is an extra security that the machine becomes without electricity after washing.

If you regret it and want to use a Wall plug instead, its capacity of 2.5 kW (11 A) will suffice.
A washing machine in the EU has a maximum power of 2.3 kW and can be secured with 10A.
With a Wall-plug you can also use the functions that I described in my previous post (which I think your wife would also appreciate)
