what about battery life (z-wave)?

Question

How often on average there's need to replace the battery? Is like every 6m, 1y or longer?

Were there any news about release date of z-wave 700 sensors?

It depends, not only wich type but also how often the sensor reports to the controller (temp,lux etc)

 

i thought that aotec and nwo had 700 devices

Got three of these working on my HC3, for a few weeks.

Also have the gen 5 sensor, battery life of this sensor is approx. 1,5 year. For the gen7 version I have to see.
