Lua scene push VD depending on GLobal Variable

Question

Posted

I’m trying to write a lua scene where a VD will be pushed depending on the status of a Global Variable.

this scene will be called by another scene, so it is set to manual.

debug is always giving me nil back and have no idea what can be wrong.

I suggest you break down your code, to find where the problem is?

Does the "if" statement correctly identify the alarm state? (Use print statements to debug)

Can you test the call statements on their own without the "if" to confirm they work?

Well I have tested this and it gives back the correct value. Before, I had changed the Variable value names and it still prints the old names, so I reverted it back in the scripts.
But it seems now my VD is not working properly, I always need to push twice before getting a result. Weird... ?

And now the VD works again... is my HC2 reliable? ?
