HC3 Lite unstable boot issues

miha89

Question

Hello, i have new  HC3L-000031**, this device has problems with starting and booting, it successfully turns on 1 time out of 10, in other cases, when the power is turned off, it does not boot correctly, the LED is not green but red and it is impossible to connect to its network, it resets clients. Only multiple reboots help.

I have already tried to change the router and power supply for hc3l but it does not help. the router is located a few meters from the device, fibaro latest firmware is installed 5.080.20. I think there is a problem with the bootloader, anyone have such problem?

  • After almost 3 months, the problem has not been resolved, technical support constantly asks to wait for the firmware update, but nothing changes, the center light still hangs after loading in 9 cases out of 10 i.e. I have to reboot it, wait a few minutes and if the signal is red, repeat it for half an hour. A very raw unstable device. Tech support also refuses to change it to the more stable HC3. I do not recommend buying this device if you value your time until it is properly tested at the factory.
