Fibaro walli dimmer overloads

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi,

i have two Fibaro walli dimmers each connected to two 5W led lamps. The first one with a bypass 2 and the second without.
After automatic calibration, double clicking the dimmers or pressing and holding on the top button and increases the power until the walli led flashes red and turns off the light.
I tried to manually limit the max brightness level to 65% via parameter 151 but that gets completely ignored by the dimmer.
Any suggestions?

thanks.

Did you try other led bulbs?

Yes both have the issue. No neutral wire. I have others dimmers with more spotlights connected to them and those work fine. I am guessing the problem is because it is only 2 lamps with very low wattage.

It is a overload or voltage drop error?

Overload I think. The Fibaro led blinks red. Now i am not 100% sure. How does one tell the difference?

A manual calibration seems to have fixed the issue. Sorry for wasting your time!

In 2 wires if the control angle is too high with small loads Voltage Drop error may occur (Dimmer shutdown itself if turned on to full brightness).
This can be resolved by manually changing calibration settings, especially parameter 151 - change it down with 5% step until the issue is resolved.

Good that you have already figured it out :)
