Ghosting - Turn off lights without any scene started or switches turned off.

We have for some time experienced the suddenly some of last commands are reversed. There are no logic in this. I have checked my scenes and I do not find any reason the the lights are being turn off.

This is sporadic and it can be several days between. It have been both on some of latest official release and on the last 2 betas.

Some thoughts on further info that is required:

What devices do you experience this with?

Does this occur at random times, or just when you are attempting to use a switch?

What type of switches do you have (momentary or toggle?)

Do the lights only randomly turn off, or randomly on as well?

Have you tried turning off the home centre for a week and seeing if this solves the problem?  This will isolate the issue from the controller.

I also had a similar problem with one and sometimes two breakers living their own lives.
I finally came to the conclusion that they reacted exactly at the same time as a completely different switch that was turned on and off (according to schedule).

The only solution for me was to change the place on these switches, then the problem stopped.
I tried after a while to change places on them again, but then the problems started again.
The switches were in no way associated with each other, but in some way they disturbed each other.

It happens with many switches. It looks like it a scene that is reversed, turn of the same that was turned on. It have completely random, but can be long time between. And it happens normally when there is no switches that are operated, or any scenes requested. I use Heltun switches as "scene switch", there are no load connected to them. Sometime we hear that there are hectic switch activity without us doing anything.

Still having problems? Try installing zWaveMonitor (search on here for it).  It's a cool program written to show you what triggers zwave events.
