RGBW 441 not adding correctly as a device on HC3

I’m planning a gradual transition from HC2 to HC3 and started by trying to add a few devices. I seem to have a problem with RGBW 441 which I have 30+ to move.

 

I’m using a new 441 which has been updated to 27.27 firmware on HC2 and then excluded from HC2 and included on HC3.

 

I’ve tried adding with latest HC3 firmware 5090.17 and the firmware that was loaded when I got the HC3

 June 30th that when he included a 441 with 27.27 firmware it loaded as an RGBW device and he was able to select “role” in the general settings, where he can select output/input, RGB, RGBW etc just like you can on HC2.

In my case, the 441 is being added as a “Colour Controller” and when I go to general settings the “role” is set as “colour controller” and I don’t have a pull down menu to change it

 

 

I’ve tried excluding & including several times. I’ve tried with another brand new 441 with firmware 25 and 27.27. I’ve rolled back to a previous firmware version on HC3 and the I’ve updated again to 5090.17 and retried. In each case it loads as a colour controller and I can’t change “role”.

 

I’ve tried with a RGBW 442 and that works perfectly. However with 30+ 441’s I’m quite keen to find a fix !

You are using new Z-Wave engine (beta), right?

Old RGBW module is not supported there yet.

I was originally using firmware 5.080.9 and when I couldn't get RGBW to work I updated to 5.090.17 which unfortunately didn't help.

 

To the best if my knowledge I haven't loaded a Beta version. How do I see which ZWave version HC3 is using?
