Zipato RGBW Bulb

Hi All,

I have just updated to version 5.090 and reset the device so that I can move to the Z-Wave v3 platform.  A bit of a pain having to exclude and then include all devices again, however all is working well apart from for the Zipato RGBW bulbs (bulb v1.7) that I have.

 

After adding the bulbs HC3 is reporting three devices - Z-Wave Node, Colour Controller and Multilevel Switch. 

 

The problem I have is that the colour controller is not working, although you can move the colour sliders it does not actual turn the bulb on, even if click 'on'.  Whereas the multi-level switch does work, allowing to turn on a bright white and control the brightness.

 

The colour controller was working perfectly on v5.070 on the previous platform, although I never had the multilevel switch option for control.

 

Although it is nice to have the bright white function, I would love to have the colour back. 

 

Is this a bug in the template or a compatibility issue with the new platform?

I am not from support but thank for the report, we will check it out
Please remember that ZW3.0 is still in beta phase and some things may not work as expected if device is not designed in 100% with Z-Wave Specification.

ZW3.0 engine has ZW+ V2 Certification and controls correctly all Color Controllers which are fully compliant with Z-Wave + standard. 
Unfortunately some devices needs some additional custom implementation if manufacturer did something a little bit different.
