Home Center 2 after restart no more reaction

Eckonism

Question

Hello,

since yesterday my Home Center 2 has been acting up again, so I restarted it. During the restart, the LEDs run through nicely, on the network switch I see traffic on the Home Center 2. But as soon as the LEDs have run through, only the first LED for Power is still lit, also on the switch no network activity is visible... No network, no online, no Z-Wave traffic...nothing else. So the Home Center is also not reachable anymore.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do? Fibaro Finder doesn't find it either

I have now also opened the side cover for the ports. What you see when the HC2 starts up is that the LEDs on the network both light up and traffic takes place. After powering up the HC2 goes completely off, after 10 seconds on again, but only with the power LED. After that you can see through the slits in the case that there is a red LED flickering and glowing inside. After a certain time no more...

thanks already, I'm pretty desperate ...

the only thing you can do:

connect a monitor (perhaps you see an errot)

try another powersupply

try booting up without the usb drive in the back

    1. with a connected monitor i see the bios booting but it wont go any further

    2. another power supply --> same issue

    3. botting without the recovery usb --> same issue

I guess with a keyboard you can enter the bios? (perhaps empty battery)

there is a post somewhere on this forum that someone removed the drive and fixed it on a linux system

  • Hello,

yes, thank you for the tip. I also think it has to do with the drive, when starting the box it shows that the directory "UserData" cannot be found. Unfortunately I don't know Linux or Ubuntu at all......

I think it's not the battery of the CMOS.....

what does "restart" and "new work" mean?
did you try a normal reset? You press the power button on the back for 10 seconds ...
