Temperature control with MCO Home MH7H

Pivodit

Question

Hi everybody.

It's time to set the heating, and I have a problem with Yubii app.

If I use the Fibaro APP, no problem I can control on/off and temperature, using the HC3 control panel same, no problem...... but with Yubii app, doesn't works.

The Yubii don't recognize the termostat and I can't set up temperature. If I create heating zone, appears the option of change temperature but don't works......

Any idea?

Thank you very much

Hi

Hi

I have  MCO Home  MH7H-EH Water Heating Thermostat, and HC3  and I have created  trough Add device/Other Device/ Thermostat a link with a Fibaro double Swicth to control  the valve for that room : linked the temp sensor from MCOHome thermostat and fibaro double switch and It's working .

But I have a issue if I change the requested temperature on the wall mounted device (MH7H-EH Water Heating Thermostat) doesn't start the valve or anything

What can I do?

Have exactly the same problem. Any suggestions?

Hi

If you cannot exchange the device for another model I mean another brand then  you can  do :

  1. create a virtual thermostat : Settings/Devices/Add device/ Other Device/Thermostat and choose the temp sensor from MH7H-EH , and with this virtual device you can control some valve or heating device

  2. but if you also want to change heatings from the physical device you need to make a Lua code to control the valve or heating device, something like:

this is only a pseudo code, I show you the logic

...
    current_state = api.get(x, "thermostatOperatingState")
    if current_state = "Idle"
       turn off the switch
    else if current_state = "Heating"
       turn on the switch
...
