Yubii Home app iOS - taking control on audio when starting

When I start Yubii Home app on iOS15, it mute current audio ( music, webex or any video call ), because ( I think ) it take control on audio channel in OS.

 

buy why? Yubii don’t use any audio output

actually the app does support Dahua cams (and door stations), and these have audio channel. You can see in the latest beta release notes "support for live audio and video from Dahua"

Ok, but if user don’t have Dahua camera added, why app use audio channel ?

 

second - I’m sure that’s better use audio channel ONLY when user open camera with audio.

 

but in other time don’t use audio channel at all

Could you provide more details, what music app, phone?

I have checked it on Sonos, Spotify, FaceTime with iPhone SE 2020 (15.2) and unfortunately I can not reproduce the problem.

The problem is here too.

Spotify, iPhone XS with up to date software.

If I'm listening Spotify and start Yubii the music stops.

open fm, sunshine live apps are stopping too ... but not every time I'm on 1.13.1.25 Yubii app

Hi, @R.Ciesielski,

 

It's Youtube Music app.

With Premium subscription it plays in background, but when Yubii app starting, it mute YT Music
