Bathroom lights scene

Question

Posted

I have 3 elements.

  • Motion sensor
  • Door sensor
  • Double Switch for lights

Idea is when someone enters bathroom - lights should turn on and stay on if door is closed and motion was detected after closing door.

After opening the door or after 60s of inactivity with open door, lights should go off.

Seems quite simple but it looks like combining multiple block scenes in order to achieve this does not work. What is best practice to make this happen?

There are several solutions on this forum. You could look at the solutions with some programming but not yet Lua:

or

You could also use some Lua code like:

BTW your trigger: "After opening the door or after 60s of inactivity with open door, lights should go off."

Sounds a bit strange. If the door is open the light goes off. So 60s of inactivity with the door open will never trigger the lights to go off, they will already be off?
