Wall Plug Z-Wave - energy consumption data taken from the moon ...

Enriquez

Question

Hi, I do not expect the solution, but I would like mention to other users, that energy consumption data reported wby wall plug is taken rather from the moon than a real data.

I used the device to monitor the Air Handling Unit with energy recuperation. It's normal that during the winter and low outside temperatures, the AHU consumes higher energy.

But for Wall Plug all the days consumption was rather similar, nevermind the weather conditions. That's why I installed regular power meter and connect this to the PV Monitor.

Below the screens from both systems. No idea what's the reason, but for me this device reduces his usability to on/off switch... Shame to Fibaro. Again...

  • Today is a half of month, so there are more data. It looks, the Wall Plug reports 3,95 smaller consumption than in reality.
