QA for RF signal learning and sending

Neo Andersson

Question

Hello guys

Does anyone know any QA that can handle RF signals ?

I am using Broadlink, and I can use 10der's QA for IR signals, but i need to find something that is capable of learning and sending RF frequency also.

Any suggestion?

Search the forum - i posted about using 10der's Broadlink QA for RF as well

Hej Christian.

  • I have tried 10der's QA

The learning process of RF is not starting at all.

It works for IR, but with RF, the Broadlink doesn't switch to learning mode.

Does the LED light up on your BL device when you start the learn process for IR or RF? Are you running a separate QA for RF learn? As far as I understand it is one of the same.

    Hi Neo

I got it to work with RF Signal by using the quick app "learn" the same as I use for IR.

At the same time I used the broadlink App on my phone, click learn Then I could see in the Fibaro RF code in the console.

  • To answer Pjoenix's question. I tried it on both ways.

I tried to learn RF singnals with the same Broadlink device, as I used for IR. It didn't work.

Then i tried to use a separate QA jut for RF learning. Nothing changed.

I think the learing process must be the same for IR or RF. 10ders's Quickapp doesn't have different functions for IR or RF learning. There is only one function "learn", no differenct ones for IR or RF.

When i tried to learn as Martin suggested  (using the Broadlink app to switch the device to learning mode, then i pressed learn button in the QA too) , i was able to catch some RF answer, but that RF code didn't work.
