No scene triggers for FGD212

All,

(besides other devices) I have installed 4 FGD212's, connected to a HC2.

Two older ones, two brand new ones.

I've set parameter 28, to 1 on all devices. And I have performed all the clicks (1x, 2x, 3x, hold) on the connected (momentary) switches.

- The "remote control" devices on the old FGD212's, show the SceneID triggers 14, 16, 24, 26, etc

- On the new FGD212's, I get no triggers displayed ("No scene triggers discovered yet"). Drives me nuts.

 

What do I need to do, so that the (new) FGD212's have there scene triggers populated in the HC2 ?

What can I test?

 

Note: I have confirmed appropriate connection of the lights and switches:

- S1 works fine to control the light connected to the dimmer

- S2 works fine, when using associations to switch lights on other Dimmer2 devices (associations removed again, after testing).

I have rebooted the HC2.

OK, I'll answer my own question:

A reset of the Dimmer2 did the trick.

 

Longer story:

• I've gracefully un-joined the FGD212 from the HC2,
• performed a reset of the device using the B-button on the device
• re-joined to the HC2
• Set the value of P28 to 1 again
• Clicked the buttons (1x, 2x, 3x, hold, release).... and now surprise... now all the Scene triggers have been added.

Bizarre.

On the new FGD212s, (I think) I had only tested the usage of associations.
