The Button + Alexa

Hi,

 

I have recently bought The Button to deal with my alarm and it works fine within my HC but Alexa can't find it, is it any kind of incompatibility or something?

From what I have been able to learn from them, they don't appear anywhere...alexa, Mobile App, you simply squeeze it and do what you want but only physically

Still dont understand why Fibaro dont add support for devices in that way. Fibaro SKILL has not been updated for about 4 years

Exactly. This is insane. Alexa is the better assistant within the market and it seems they don't want it to be used anymore.

 

By now, I have found a way to control it throughout an scene.

@m.roszak, why we need AutomationBridge for a more complete integration with Alexa? Is your company slow in adding more voice control or is what you offer all you can?

I believe that some control from "smart" speakers is missing due to security reason.

Alexa and Google don't support it officially. We can't use it in official skill. We cannot implement this solution without violating Google's or Amazon's licenses
