Thermostat state (Idle/Heating)

Question

Posted (edited)

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a way of getting the state of my thermostats. I wasn't able to find anything on the web apart from some "Thermostat operating state" commands, but I've no idea how to get there via lua fibaro.getValue. Tried my best guess but no luck.

I wouldn't be so stubborn to find it, yet this value is visible on my fibaro devices panel, so it must be somewhere:

Thanks in advance for any help!

EDIT: aaah I must have mistyped that, it's as simple as fibaro.getValue(55, "thermostatOperatingState")...

Hi @yoozef,

You can try this code

at the end value will have true if thermostat is heating now, or false, if in other mode

        if fibaro.getValue(deviceID, "thermostatOperatingState") == "Heating" then
            value = true
        else
            value = false
        end
